Midge Decter is a director of the Heritage Foundation. She also heads Committee for the Free World and is on the Jamestown Foundation Advisory Committee:
In 1983 the Jamestown Foundation was
created for the purpose of educating the United States and the West about the
nature and purposes of the Soviet Union. The foundation was unique because it
was the only organization in the non-communist world which used for this purpose
defectors.
NOTE THE FACT THAT HENRY HYDE IS CONNECTED TO THE JAMESTOWN INSTITUTE AND THE JAMESTOWN INSTITUTE SHARES AT LEAST ONE DIRECTOR WITH THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION WHICH IS FUNDED BY SCAIFE. The Committee for the Free World, run by Decter, bore a striking resemblance to the Committee for Cultural Freedom, which thrived during the Cold War from 1950 to 1966, until it was exposed as a CIA front by the New York Times. The same people were involved in both organizations: Sidney Hook, Irving Kristol etc. Scaife and Smith Richardson supported the Committe for a Free World. 1989 Scaife sold Sacramento Union 1989. 1991 Reportedly lost "virtually nothing" in 1991 divorce.

Accuracy in Media:
Scaife is a major funder of AIM - Accuracy in Media - which, as stated, Victor

In 1984 Covert Action reported: "Perhaps the most significant spoke in AIM's
wheel of fortune is Richard Mellon Scaife. The Scaife Family Charitable Trusts
doled out a $150,000 grant to AIM in January 1982 according to Group Research
Report, which monitors the right wing in the United States. Most recently,
according to the AIM Report (March 1984), Scaife's Carthage Foundation gave
$50,000. Altogether, Scaife has steered approximately $433,000 to AIM since
1977.
The Bradley
Institute helped Charles Murray, author of The Bell Curve, which argues that
intelligence is predicated on race, and Losing Ground, whose thesis is that
social programs should be abolished. Murray's work was so controversial and
objectionable that the conservative Manhattan Institute, for which he worked,
asked him to leave. However, the Bradley Foundation, which had funded him at the
Manhattan Institute, stood by him because Murray, according to a spokesmand for
the Foundation, "is one of the foremost social thinkers in the country." Bradley
extended Murray's $100,000 per year grant when he went to the American
Enterprise Institute as of 1996. Murray is published by the

Reagan's 1980 campaign manager, William J. Casey, an OSS alumnus and conservative member of the establishment, was appointed CIA director by Reagan. Casey, a New York lawyer, headed the governing board of the relatively young conservative think tank the International Center for Economic Policy Studies-funded in part by Scaife and the Adolph Coors Foundation-when he was recruited to replace John Sears as Reagan's campaign manager. Casey was a founding director of the conservative National Strategy Information Center in the early 1960s. Further back, he assisted with the incorporation of William Buckley's National Review, and served as executor of the Jim Wick estate, which established the long-term funding for Human Events. Hyde was chairman of the Platform Committee for the 1996 Republican Convention, and is often mentioned as a possible Speaker of the House. He also appears to be above the law. On March 5th, the federal government settled its lawsuit against Hyde and the S&L's other directors for a piddling $850,000. Under a separate agreement, Hyde himself will not have to pay a dime. It's a strikingly generous offer, given that U.S. District Court Judge Brian Duff -- a former Republican colleague of Hyde's in the Illinois legislature -- wrote that "the RTC alleges facts sufficient to sustain a claim of gross negligence."
Minutes of Clyde's board meetings show
Hyde played an active role in some of Clyde's most foolhardy adventures. Hyde
approved participation in a loan for a Texas luxury beachfront condominium
project that defaulted, costing Clyde $3.7 million. Clyde had no experience in
out-of-state construction loans, and it made the loan based on information
provided by a loan broker who "stood to receive a substantial fee" if the loan
was approved. (The lead lender, by the way, was Guaranty S&L, of Harrison,
Arkansas -- of Whitewater fame.) Hyde also approved a risky options trading
program, and purchase of Grand Cayman Island Eurodollar securities. THE CATO INSTITUTE PUBLISHES HYDE
THE CATO INSTITUTE RECEIVES MONEY FROM SCAIFE
1000 Massachusetts
Ave., N.W. The Cato Institute is a 501(c)(3) public policy research institution that favors a "market liberal" approach to political and economic issues. The Institute is named for Cato's Letters libertarian pamphlets that helped lay the philosophical foundation for the American Revolution. Cato undertakes an extensive publications program dealing with a wide range of policy issues. Books, monographs, and short studies are commissioned to examine the federal budget, Social Security, monetary policy, natural resource policy, military spending, regulation, NATO, international trade, and myriad other issues. Cato is considered to be the leading libertarian think tank. Cato has been called "Washington's hottest think tank" by the Boston Globe, and New York magazine said since the [1994] election, Cato has been at the white-hot center of the revolution. Moreover, according to The Nation "except for Heritage, no think tank's influence is felt more strongly in Washington than the Cato Institute." Cato actively supports efforts to provide educational choice to parents of all income levels and to create Medical Savings Accounts as a free-market solution to rising health care costs. In 1991, Cato published Liberating Schools: Education in the Inner City. Many of the contributors argued that only increased choice and autonomy will improve the plight of urban education. In 1992, Patient Power by John Goodman and Gerald Musgrave made medical savings accounts a popular and much-discussed idea. In 1994, Cato printed more than 300,000 copies of an abridged edition of Patient Power. Cato continues to examine the issue of educational freedom, publishing School Choice: How You Need It, How You Get It by David Harmer. Cato is actively supporting Social Security privatization and is coordinating strategy and policy with ALEC and other conservative think tanks. Cato's Project on Social Security Privatization is publishing several plans for privatizing Social Security including one by Peter J. Ferrara who, in addition to being an associate at Cato, is the general counsel and chief economist of Americans for Tax Reform. Cato's Internet Web site offers a benefits calculator enabling individuals to generate data on their personal retirement benefit levels. The Web site lets individuals personalize data, adjusting it to their anticipation of factors such as income, inflation rate, and rate of return on stocks and bonds. Cato hosts major policy conferences throughout the year, from which papers are published in Cato Journal. The Institute also publishes a quarterly magazine, Regulation, which was acquired from the American Enterprise Institute in 1990. Cato was founded in 1977 by Edward H. Crane and Kansas industrialist Charles G. Koch in San Francisco. Its biggest financial benefactor has been the Koch family, owners of Koch Industries, an oil, natural gas, and land-management firm that is the second largest privately owned company in America. In 1996, Cato had a staff of fifty and an operating budget of $7.9 million. Funding: Revenues of $6,436,365 in 1994 included grants of $140,000 from the Gordon and Mary Cain Foundation, $135,000 from the Sarah Scaife Foundation, and $10,000 from the Grover Hermann Foundation. In 1995, Cato received $500,000 from the Claude R. Lambe Charitable Foundation, $500,000 from the David H. Koch Charitable Foundation, $50,000 from the John M. Olin Foundation, $35,000 from the John William Pope Foundation, $18,000 from the William H. Donner Foundation, $15,000 from the Sumark Foundation, and $5,000 from the Roe Foundation. Cato received $5,951,988 or 92 percent of its revenue from contributions and grants awarded by foundations, businesses, and individuals.
Board of Directors
or Trustees: Key Staff:
Chairman - William Niskanen
President and CEO - Edward Crane MONICA: THE THEORY
Monica Lewinsky, a spoiled overweight woman with the mentality of a teenager, is easily influenced. Look at her Grand Jury testimony. When she wanted a break she said she had drank too much water. At one point she said "It's time for a nap." She was jealous of Eleanor Mondale. Excerpts from Monica's testimony: "I had no idea how I had gotten onto the witness list and then of course, been subpeonaed and I was thinking at that point that maybe my phone was tapped or someone had read my emails or something. But in thinking that my phone might be tapped, I sort of tried to explain this to Linda that I had been subpeonaed in a veiled fashion... I thought maybe someone had broken into my computer and was reading my emails...I told her that sometime over the holidays I had freaked out and my mom took me to Georgetown Hospital and they put me on Paxil. That wasn't true...Can I hide under the table? I had, I had wanted, I tried to, I placed his genital next to mine, and hoped that if he, oh this is just too embarassing...I scooted over..." During another part of her testimony Monica was asked if she felt that her security was at risk because of her affair with the President. She said the thought had crossed her mind, because of the Marilyn Monroe conspiracy theory. Lucky for Monica, different forces are at play in the late 1990's. Monica's first attorney, William Ginsberg, was into protecting the President, as were Monica and her mother, who is married to R. Peter Strauss. They hid the dress and Monica denied that the President had tried to buy her silence. But soon after Plato Cacheris became her attorney, she assumed a totally opposite posture and was a snitch. Monica became a stooge of Ken Starr and Richard Scaife. She said what Scaife and Starr wanted to hear - graphic descriptions of the President's bizzare sex life, testimony that Clinton lied under oath, all on the advice of her lawyers.
PLATO CACHERIS' CIA CONNECTIONS FORMER CHIEF ASSISTANT US ATTORNEY IN VIRGINIA Former Marine Plato Cacheris is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Foreign Affairs. This institution is a well known CIA training school. He also graduated from GTU's Law School. He was an chief assistant United States attorney in northern Virginia, where the CIA and many of its proprietaries are located. He worked under Herbert J. Miller and handled numerous espionage cases, such as that of Robert Lee Johnson who had supplied secrets to the Soviets. Once in private practice he defended Herbert Bochenhaupt, also accused of passing info to the Sovs. LAW PARTNER OF WILLIAM HUNDLEY Cacheris went into private practice with William Hundley. Hundley grew up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. A 1950 graduate of Fordam Law School he was recruited by the Justice Department in 1951 where he prosecuted alleged Communists for violation of the Smith Act. He specialized in espionage matters. Hundley later become head of the Organized Crime and Labor Racketeering Section under USAG Robert Kennedy. He left Justice in 1966. Hundley became head of Security for the NFL. In 1969 Hundley and Cacharis became law partners. Hundley was the former law partner of Robert Peloquin, another former Justice Department attorney working in the Organized Crime Section. William Hundley has a long history of involvement with the intelligence and organized crime community and can be found in the Coup D'Etat in America database. Hundley quizzed Robert Maheu in the wake of the Galindez kidnapping. HUNDLEY AND INTERTEL Resorts International, a company that owned the Paradise Island casino in Nassau, reportedly put up two millions dollars to establish the International Intelligence Corporation (INTERTEL) security firm in Washington which was headed by former Justice Department experts on organized crime William Hundley and Robert Peloquin. INTERTEL was described as an organization that looked into the operations of large corporations to ascertain whether any of their assets were being directed towards activities controlled by organized crime. Three major accounts of that firm were Life Magazine, the National Football League and Resorts International. Resorts International owned 91% of INTERTEL'S stock. In the mid-1960's organized crime figure Eddie Cellini managed the Paradise Island casino where William Hundley and Robert Peloquin were in charge of casino security. [They Call it a Game - Bernie Parish - 1971]Cellini's sister was the mistress of attorney Edward Morgan, who represented the CIA controled Cuban Democratic Revolutionary Council. In March 1971 INTERTEL began an investigation of Robert Maheu Associates, before taking over its operations. INTERTEL had been engaged by Howard Hughes to look into his Las Vegas operations which were formerly managed by Maheu. The CIA asked INTERTEL investigator Edward Mullin, who was formerly employed in the FBI, and CIA DDP, to report back to it on the investigation of Robert Maheu Associates. The CIA: "Officers in this organization who know and have dealt with Mr. Mullin vouch for the honesty of Mr. Mullin's willingness to do what he can to prevent unnecessary exposure of CIA's interests. Although he been described by Agency staffers who know him as 'not a mental giant' they believe he will cooperate even to the extent of advising us of the results of his investigations where our vital interests are concerned. It should also be considered that Mr. Maheu is currently under investigation in Las Vegas and we have no way of knowing what connection with CIA may be disclosed by a search of Robert A. Maheu Associates files. It would be highly desirable to have someone in Intertel on the alert for matters of concern to CIA which might be developed by the broad investigation of Robert Maheu Associates currently under way. It is my proposal after consultation with Mr. James P. O'Connell, DD/PTOS, that Mr. Mullin be briefed on the cover relationship between Robert A. Maheu Associates and (Deleted) and (Deleted) role in the removal of the (Deleted). The briefing would be done by Mr. Connell and a member of my staff. Naturally, nothing of an operational nature will be revealed to Mr. Mullin. Erich W. Isenstead, Chief, Central Cover Staff." [3.25.71]
William G. Hundley, represents Vernon E. Jordan Jr., the presidential confidant who is also being investigated by Starr. In 1987 Hundley and Cacharis dissolved their law partnership. Hundley represented Tongson Park, Korean spook. I. IRVING DAVIDSON Cacheris represented I. Irving Davidson, who is also in the Coup D'Etat in America Data Base. Davidson admitted to being a CIA asset who worked in Papa Doc Duvalier's Haiti, among other locations. Davidson was associated with Carlos Marcello and other hoods who were involved with the CIA in plotting the assassination of Fidel Castro. SHEIK KAMAL ADHAM Cacheris represented Sheik Kamal Adham, a former Saudi intelligence chief and advisor to the royal familly in the BCCI matter. As Saudi intelligence chief, Adham maintained a close relationship with the CIA. The New York Times reported: "Sheik Kamal's role as head of the Foreign Liaison Bureau, the Saudi intelligence agency, has aroused suspicions about his possible connections to the CIA. The CIA used BCCI as a tranfer point for funds used to finance covert operations.." Adnan was a business partner of Adnan Kashoggi, who was involved in Iran Contra. ADNAN KASHOGGI Cacheris was retained by arms dealer and billionaire, Adnan Kashoggi, another CIA asset, to represent an associate of his. Khashoggi found himself in the middle of the Iran-contra scandal because of his work with Manucher Ghorbanifar in setting up several of the arms-for-hostages deals. Some of these deals were connected with BCCI, where Khashoggi was a major client. In 1988 he and Imelda Marcos were indicted in Manhattan for helping her late husband hide assets that belonged to the Philippine people. Khashoggi was arrested in Switzerland and extradited, but he and Imelda were acquitted in 1990. At last report (March 1992), Khashoggi sold his yacht and creditors impounded his jet. He lives mostly in Spain, is still fighting his legal battles, and was down to his last $54 million. FAWN HALL Cacheris was the attorney for Iran-Contra figure Fawn Hall, Oliver North's secretary. Although she was granted immunity, Hall did not supply substantive information on the activities of Ollie North. WATERGATE Cacheris was co-counsel for John Mitchell in the Watergate prosecution. ALDRICH AMES Cacheris was choosen to represent convicted CIA spy Aldrich Ames by Magistrate Barry Poretz. This is significant. When someone defends Aldrich Ames, they have got be an asset, or agent, of the Central Intelligence Agency. Aldrich Ames knew so much that if he told it to the wrong attorney he could compromise national security. Cacheris was able to get Ames wife a lenient sentence as long as Ames played along with the Agency and the case never came to trial. That is the way things work inside the beltway. I have come across law firms of this nature during my work in D.C., most notably that of the late Bernard Fensterwald. Plato Cacheris was retained by Lawrence Franklin, a DOD official accused of spying for Israel. "We consider him a loyal American who did not engage in any espionage activities," said Cacheris, the first person representing Franklin to speak on his behalf since the investigation surfaced a month ago. "Any charge of espionage will be met with fierce resistance." Cacheris runs his own tiny firm that specializes in white collar crime. THE MEESE/FEDERALIST/STEIN CONNECTION Stein is a partner at a mid-size shop, Stein, Mitchell & Mezines. There is not enough evidence to say that Jacob Stein is connected to the CIA. Often CIA asset, or agent, lawyers will have legitimate associates to provide them with cover. Stein is the former independent counsel who investigated and cleared one-time Attorney General Ed Meese. Meese was a regular visitor to the Heritage Foundation headquarters in Washington, D.C. The cost of the investigation was $312,000. Meese was awarded $472,190 to help cover his legal costs. When Stein represented Army Colonel Samuel J. Watson, a former aide to then Vice President George Bush, he had Plato Cacheris ask a panel of judges to award him legal fees. He also served as a defense counsel in the Watergate case for Howard Chapin. He represented former Oregon Sen. Bob Packwood against allegations of sexual harassment and has taught law extensively. BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE FEDERALIST SOCIETY
TONY SNOW According to the Washington Post: Tripp's discussions with agent Goldberg about a book began in the summer of 1996 after a furor over publication of Gary W. Aldrich's "Unlimited Access: an FBI Agent Inside the Clinton White House." Full of assertions about drug use, rampant theft, open gay/lesbian sex and late night disappearances by the president, it was assailed harshly and repeatedly by the White House, but rose to the best-seller lists nonetheless. In her grand jury testimony, Tripp said she was upset to see Aldrich "smeared in the media" when she considered most of what he had written "based on my observations" to have been truthful. Having been urged by a friend, Fox-TV commentator and former Bush speechwriter Tony Snow to write a book, Tripp contacted him and he put her in touch with Goldberg. "[T]he last words Lucianne Goldberg said to me is, 'Who do you think you are, the queen of England?'‚" Tripp recalled. "And she slammed the phone down and I didn't talk to her again until the end of September of '97." Goldberg told the FBI that Snow passed word that Tripp wanted to see her again and when they spoke, "Tripp provided just enough information for Goldberg to be interested in the story." At their meeting, Goldberg said, Tripp told her she had "explosive" information about a young woman, also working at the Pentagon, who was having an affair with Clinton. In 1991, Snow took a sabbatical from journalism to work in the White House for George Bush, first as chief speechwriter (deputy assistant to the president for communications and director of speechwriting), and later as deputy assistant to the president for media affairs (1992-93). Snow began his journalism career in 1979 as an editorial writer for the Greensboro Record in North Carolina. He later served as an editorial writer at The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, VA. (1981-82), editorial page editor of the Daily Press in Newport News (1982-84), deputy editorial page editor of The Detroit News (1984-87), and editorial page editor of The Washington Times (1987-91). Snow received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Davidson College, North Carolina, in 1977, and studied philosophy and economics at the University of Chicago during the 1978-79 academic year. He taught school in Kenya and in Cincinnati, and worked as an advocate for the mentally ill and developmentally disabled in North Carolina. Born in Berea, KY, in 1955 and raised in Cincinnati, Snow is married to the former Jill Ellen Walker. They live in Virginia with their three children, a son and two daughters, and their three dogs and two cats. "The notion that she was a Republican mole in the Clinton White House doesn't make any sense," said conservative columnist Tony Snow, who introduced Tripp to Goldberg. But "it's reasonable to ask what her motives are," he added. SNOW'S TENUOUS CONNECTIONS TO THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY
New Dangers, Old
Enemies: Security Challenges in the 21st Century THE WASHINGTON TIMES AND THE MOONIES News World Communicatons, which owns the Washington Times, consists of, among others, Arnaud de Borchgrave, and Bo Hi Pak. Borchgrave was a Director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Bo Hi Pak, the president of NWC, served as liaison to the U.S. intelligence community while posted in Washington as South Korean military attache in the 1960s and early '70s, according to the Koreagate inquiry. Pak is also president of CAUSA (Confederation of the Associations for Unity of the Societies of the Americas), the political arm of the Unification Church. CAUSA was instrumental in providing aid to the Nicaraguan contras. Since its inception in 1982, the Washington Times has gained a circulation of about 100,000 and received the endorsement of President Ronald Reagan, who reads it every day. Founding editor and publisher James Whelan resigned in July 1984, charging that top Unification Church (UC) officials had taken over the paper in violation of UC guarantees of independence. In 1987, Times editorial page editor William Cheshire and several staff members also resigned over UC interference. Reverend Sun Yung Moon's organization, the Unification Church, funds The Washington Times. Most of Moon's money comes from Japan. For almost 20 years there have been consistent reports that one of Moon's most important financial supporters and advisors is Ryoichi Sasakawa. In 1969, Moon and Sasakawa, together, formed the Freedom Leadership Foundation (FLF), which lobbied the U.S. for a hawkish position in Vietnam. One of Sasakawa's favorite projects for the Moon organization was Win Over Communism (WOC), which was a fund raiser for the Unification Church. Sasakawa. was the WOC's chairman. Sasakawa. is clearly one of the richest men in Japan. Much of his money comes from the Japanese motorboat racing industry. Since it was legalized in Japan, it has become a $14 billion sport. Sasakawa. describes himself as "the world's richest Fascist". In addition to his riches, according to author Walter Pat Choate, "for more than half a century Sasakawa. has been one of the primary political brokers inside Japan". Choate claims that Sasakawa is part of Japan's attempts to influence America's politics and policies. "Many of Sasakawa's and Moon's operations parallel each other. They operate in the same way, giving away money, a great deal of attention to media and media organizations which operate across national borders, and the maintenance of a very right wing conservative focus," states Choate. According to Choate, Sasakawa's political activities go back 50 years, when he formed one of the most radical and Fascist parties inside Japan. "He was one of those individual business leaders who was calling for war with the United States in the months preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor," claims Choate. In 1931, Sasakawa. formed the Kokusui Taishuto, a militarist political movement, and according to a U.S. Counter Intelligence Corps report after World War Two, Sasakawa. was "one of the most active Fascist organizers prior to the war." He was later imprisoned for plotting the assassination of a former Premier. In 1939, Sasakawa. even flew to Rome in one of his own aircraft to meet personally with Benito Mussolini to help arrange the Axis alliance between Italy, Germany and Japan. Sasakawa organized Japan's black shirts patterned after Mussolini's. Ten months before the outbreak of World War Two, Sasakawa. toured the South Pacific in a flying boat. There still exist letters which he wrote to his close friend Admiral Yamamoto, the architect of the Pearl Harbor attack, and it was Sasakawa. who was virtually Yamamoto's only political contact to the far right wing in Japan. Another prominent Japanese war criminal who became an important member and supporter of the Moon organization was Yoshio Kodama. Having become an ultra-nationalist, terrorist leader in Japan at the age of 15, Kodama joined scores of secret societies with names like Blood Brotherhood, Holy War Execution League, Federation of Radical Patriotic Workers, and Capital Rise Asia Academy. He made his living working for those murderous groups. These yakuza armies were bankrolled by and served the interests of wealthy industrials, the police and the Army. They broke up labor unions, "protected" factories and offices, and assassinated opposition leaders. Having participated in a failed plot to assassinate, in one stroke, all the most powerful men in Japan, Kodama ended up in prison for attempted assassination and other terrorist acts. By 1940, Kodama had set up a strong working relationship with Japan's military intelligence apparatus, and served on many secret missions into Manchuria. The work landed him the lucrative position of supplying the Japanese Navy during World War Two. By one account, it was Sasakawa. who asked Kodama to do this work. He established the Kodama Agency, which according to U.S. Army Counterintelligence Corps records, consisted of "systematically looting China of its raw materials". In order to accomplish this supply network, Kodama dealt in heroin, guns, tungsten, gold, salt, iron, owned farms, fisheries, an orphanage, and molybdenum mine, a munitions factory in China, industrial diamonds and radium, which he stole from the hospitals in Shanghai. Eventually he became known as "the man behind the Kempei Tai (secret police). When World War Two ended, Kodama was 34, a brigadier general, Cabinet advisor, and possessed millions of dollars worth of platinum, industrial diamonds, over $175 million in foreign currency, plus liquid assets. At the end of World War Two, both Sasakawa. and Kodama were classified as Class A war criminals by the American Occupation Forces in Japan. According to American Intelligence, "Sasakawa. appears to be a man potentially dangerous to Japan's political future...He has been squarely behind Japanese military aggression and anti-foreignism for more than 20 years. He is a man of wealth and not too scrupulous about its use...He is not above wearing any new cloak that opportunism may offer." In 1946, an American Army officer attached to the International Military Tribunal in Japan, said of Kodama, "He committed numerous acts of violence in China in acquisition by foul means or fair of commodities and goods belonging to the Chinese," and that "ten years from today, Kodama is going to be a great leader in Japan." The officer's assessment of Kodama was bleak. "His long and fanatic involvement in ultra-nationalistic activities, violence included, and his skill in appealing to youth, make him a man who, if released from internment, would surely be a grave security risk...Persistent rumors as to his black market profits in his Shanghai period, plus his known opportunism, are forceful arguments that he would be as unscrupulous in trade as he was in ultra-nationalism." But when the Cold War began, U.S. officials in Japan began to fear the Communists more than the Fascists, a pattern too familiar in Europe. Sasakawa., Kodama and other prominent Japanese war criminals were quietly released from prison in 1948, and many went on to play a dominant role in the Japanese Liberal Democratic Party, the most important political party in Asia, which has controlled the political destiny of Japan ever since. It has been reported that Kodama's release from Sugamo Prison was the work of the CIA. As a result, many of the very same men in Japan who had worked closely with Nazi Germany a decade before, again assumed the leadership role in Japan. By 1958, Kodama was one of the most powerful men in the Orient. That same year, he signed a contract with the Lockheed Corporation to help influence the Japanese government to reverse its intention to purchase the Grumman F-111 for the Japanese Air Force. To do this, Kodama used an American agent who had lost his U.S. citizenship by working with the Japanese during World War Two in Manchuria, another intelligence agent who had worked in China, and other associated politicians, including war crimes suspects whom he had met in Sugamo Prison. Among the people who helped him to secure the contract for Lockheed were General Minoru Genda, the architect of the attack on Pearl Harbor, who had recently been appointed commander-in-chief of the new Japanese Air Force. Kodama had helped him in this new appointment. Lockheed received the Japanese contract and General Genda, who was a primary party in the bombing of Pearl Harbor 17 years earlier, received the U.S. Legion of Merit award from the U.S. Air Force. Moon, Sasakawa. and Kodama first got together in the 1960s to form the Asian People's Anti-Communist League. Created with the help of South Korean intelligence agents and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the League dedicated itself to uniting Fascists throughout Asia and combatting Communism. The League set up and funded Moon's Freedom Center in the United States in 1964. Kodama was chief advisor for the Moon subsidiary, Win Over Communism, an organization which helped to protect his investments in South Korea. In 1966, the League merged with the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations, another Fascist organization, to form the World Anti-Communist League. Dedicated to fighting Communism and promoting Fascism, and spreading to nearly 100 nations on six continents, the World Anti-Communist League was headed by John Singlaub, one of the key players in the Iran-Contra scandal. According to Sara Diamond, the League was a "multinational network of Nazi war criminals, Latin American death squad leaders, North American racists and anti-Semites, and Fascist politicians from every continent." The headquarters for the League is in the United States, in the offices of Moon's Freedom Center. SALEM WITCH HUNT FOR SEX ADDICT Clinton's sex addiction overcame him and his judgement lapsed when he choose Monica as his paramour, rather than choosing an older woman who would have kept his secrets. Of course he lied about his addiction under oath, and lied to the American people. Very few addicts admit being addicts. We cannot, however, because of moral indignation, allow a small group of people to pull a bloodless coup and thwart the will of the millions of Americans who elected William Jefferson Clinton their President. Clinton needs to enter some sort of program or get divorced and remarry or undergo family counseling. Give the guy a break. THE RUTHERFORD FOUNDATION A malevolent force is behind Paula Jones. The Rutherford Institute, which pays for Paula Jones legal fees, is part of the Christian Reconstruction Movement. The Rutherford Foundation receives money from Richard Scaife.
CHRISTIAN
RECONSTRUCTIONISM: Simply put, Christian Reconstructionists (CR's) are Christians who believe that the only way to solve modern America's problems is to bring back 16th century Puritan Massachusetts. The CR's are politically active ultra-conservative scriptural literalists. They use the phrase "inerrant Law-Word of God" to describe their biblical view. They do not believe in traditional American notions of Separation of Church and State or in public education. They do not believe that "governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed" as Thomas Jefferson wrote in our Declaration of Independence. They promote an Old Testament, Puritan, theocratic view of government where the interpreters of God's will (the clergy) rule the state. They believe that "they" are literally intended by God to take political control over all aspects of society and rule here in America until the post-millennial return of Christ. They believe that all civil law must be based on a literal fundamentalist reading of Scripture, including the very harshest reading of the Old Testament legal code. Willing to work intensely at local political activity, they exercise influence far out of proportion to their numbers. Rousas J. Rushdoony, the founder and chief theorist of the "Reconstructionist" movement, calls democracy a heresy; it's not found in the Bible. He writes "Christianity is completely and radically anti-democratic; it is committed to a spiritual aristocracy." His type of Hyper-Reformed-Calvinism emphasizes the inherited sinfulness of all humans and the divine election to salvation of only a few, who are the only people qualified to govern human society. He teaches that the Bible requires the death penalty for 14 different offenses, including blasphemers, adulterers, homosexuals, idolaters, and "incorrigible" children. He also insists that the Bible condones some forms of slavery. Rushdoony compares the spread of Christian Reconstructionism in America to the rise of the militant Shiite Moslems in Islamic nations. Both are a reaction to the modern world that unite religion and politics into one seamless authoritarian philosophy. CR's attitude toward other faith groups is beyond arrogance. For them diversity is a dirty word! They believe that anyone espousing theological error has no claim to religious freedom and may properly have their rights denied by law. Religious toleration in America and open religious dialogue are abhorrent to CR's because they say "it affords people an opportunity to be exposed to theological error." Rushdoony puts it this way, "In the name of toleration, the believer is asked to associate on a common level of total acceptance with the atheist, the pervert, the criminal, and the adherents of other religions as if no differences existed." He calls democracy the "great love of the failures and cowards of life." FROM THE RUTHERFORD FOUNDATION WEBSITE Supreme Court Ruling Attacks Free Speech and Free Elections Forbes v. Arkansas Educational Television Associates
The Supreme Court ruled by a 6-3 margin that government-owned broadcasting stations can exclude balloted candidates from debates which they sponsor and air. The Rutherford Institute had assisted Ralph Forbes, a candidate for U.S. Congress in Arkansas, from such a debate in his suit against the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN). The Supreme Court's decision essentially means that state employees can arbitrarily exclude American citizens from the political process. Specifically, by allowing the government itself to exclude a political candidate from a debate which its sponsors, the government is implying which candidates' views are worthy of consideration and tainting the democratic ideal of free elections. While the Institute is saddened by this outcome, it will remain committed to fighting for the free speech rights of all citizens and seek to build on the foundation of the three dissenting Justices' opinion. CHRISTIAN NAZIS Ralph Forbes, a former American Nazi Party member and Ku Klux Klan activist who now calls himself a Christian supremacist, received about 2.5 percent of the votes cast in his Arkansas congressional race in 1992. The Rutherford Institute website never mentioned this fact. The CR's have a Nazi interpretation of the Bible, wherein they use certain passages in the Bible to support a Nazi philosophy. Unlike the Christian Identity groups, the CRs have choosen not to take up arms against the United States Government. But if they ever took over America would be, in effect, a Nazi country. Homosexuals would be stoned to death. Anyone who spoke up against the CR government could be accused of blasphemy and stoned to death. Jews and Muslims would not be allowed to pray to their false gods. If they did not convert, they would be killed. Papism, better known as Catholicism, would become illegal. Although the rhetoric would be different, it would be the Third Reich all over again! So no matter how Kinky Clinton might be, the Rutherford creeps are much worse.
What is the connection between an exploding cigar meant for Fidel Castro that was accidentally left in the Oval Office in 1961, and Monica Lewinsky?
BACK TO THE CIA AND SCAIFE CHRONOLOGY CONTINUED MIDGE DECTOR In 1982 The Heritage Foundation set up an Asian studies center, supported by Korean companies at the urging of the Korean CIA.
