Of course I can. Easily. Within 4 seconds. It is YOU who can't. I
demonstrated this to the jerks at the local gunshop who told me that the
SMI bullets I was buying were steel jacketed. And these gunsmiths are
supposed to be experts. I didn't tell them, but I knew at a glance that
they were copper jacketed SMI bullets, because they are the only
cartridges which have a crimp on the neck. And I borrowed a magnet from
the owner to show that that the bullet does not react to a magnet, hence
it can not be steel which DOES react to a magnet, therefore must be copper
jacketed.

This is where your armchair guessing suffers from the lack of real world
experience. Unlike you I actually own a Mannlicher-Carcano and several M-C
bullets, all copper jacketed.
